We have a compute server available on the Maths Linux system which is primarily aimed at providing for teaching and student projects.

When a taught course needs access to this server other users may be asked to stop running jobs on it, and the jobs might be killed, so please do be check-pointing and aware of our policies about running jobs on computers, here.

To use this server you will need a Maths account.

To login (via ssh) you can do this from a UNIX command line:

ssh CRSID@subliminal.maths.cam.ac.uk

(CRSID = your University login ID)

If you cannot login then please contact the Maths Help-Desk at help@maths.cam.ac.uk.
