Troubleshooting email problems
Is the problem just with email?
Network problems and being over your quota can cause email misbehaviour, but this will normally be accompanied by other issues such as slowness or being unable to edit your files.
Try webmail
Check whether you can send and receive messages using University Webmail (ExOL)
If webmail also has problems, it is most likely an issue with the server. If webmail works, there is probably something wrong with your client's configuration.
