Linux Graphical Desktop (X Windows, X11)
The default supported desktop/window-manager for Maths Ubuntu is XUbuntu. Other options including Gnome, KDE, fvwm and twm are also available. To see the full list and select a different desktop, click the small round icon near the top right of the login screen (not the power icon). You can also set your desktop in the file .dmrc
.
Advanced users who do not like the other options may configure the graphical environment using a .xsession
file.
You can reset your gnome desktop using the command xreset.sh
(full path is /alt/bin/xreset.sh
). Then log out and back in.
