How to Change Your Passwords

To change your Maths account password

If you know your current Maths password then you can reset it on linux PCs by using the passwd command or on Windows PCs using Ctrl + Alt + Del and selecting the Change Password option

If you cannot recall your Maths Password AND you have a Raven authentication then you can reset your Maths password via the mypassword service. If you cannot remember your password and do not have Raven authentication then please contact the Maths Helpdesk.In this scenario, for obvious reasons, we would need to be able to confirm your identity.

To change your Raven password (which authenticates you to various University services)

• Visit the UIS Password Management page.

Also set up the self-service password recovery in case you forget your UIS password.
