Arranging maths linux access
Where is the form
- New staff member: The PI or manager fills out the account application form. Alternatively if the person can see their staff record in the self service then the applicant or PI can bypass the form and apply by emailing help@maths to say the self service staff record is visible. (This does not apply to CTO or CRF - only to staff types managed by the maths HR office. )
- New research student: The supervisor fills out the account application form. If the student can see their student record in the self service then the student or supervisor can if they prefer bypass the form and simply email help@maths instead. This does not apply to visiting students. It only applies to student records handled by the maths postgraduate office.
- Everybody else: An academic staff member uses the application form to apply for your access.
- Leavers: Please follow the above if you need to keep access. Except Emeritus.
- Emeritus: If the selfservice lists you as emeritus you can apply by emailng help@maths. Otherwise please contact your head of department's PA to discuss keeping access.
