In a major acquisition by the nation, Cambridge University Library will host Stephen Hawking’s personal archive, and the contents of his office in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics will be preserved by the Science Museum to be put on public view.

In this video, Professor Paul Shellard, Director of the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology at DAMTP, Dr Jessica Gardner, the University Librarian, and members of Professor Hawking's family discuss the significance of the archive and some of the insights it provides.
