If you are a woman undergraduate considering the one year Part III master's degree course in Cambridge and then a PhD in Geometry and Number theory, you may wish to apply simultaneously to Cambridge and to the London School of Geometry and Number Theory and let the Part III admissions secretary know that you wish to be considered for the joint LSGNT/Part III/Newnham Scheme.
The LSGNT are hoping to offer deferred PhD studentships to one or two women applicants who accept a place at Newnham College to do Part III.
Your Part III application will be considered independently of the LSGNT scheme.
