Undergraduate Admissions

Meet our student ambassadors:

Our maths ambassadors have volunteered to help inspire prospective students to develop their interest and talent in maths. They are usually around to answer questions at our Open Days, and help with, e.g., Mock interviews, STEP questions, Problem solving, Talks to schools about applying to Maths at Cambridge. Check them out below to see who they are and what tips they have for you.

Top tips from the student ambassadors:

"At interview, as long as you think out loud and talk them through everything you're doing you'll be fine!" (Alex)

"Do maths where possible outside of your studies (reading books, attending public lectures at a local university etc.) - it's important to show your interest in the subject, and of course is useful to decide if you actually want to study maths!" (Kai)

"Believe in yourself and push yourself - no matter your background if you have the drive and motivation you can achieve." (Paul)
