The 2025 Faculty of Mathematics Lecturing Prize
The 2024-2025 Faculty Lecturing Prize has been awarded to Professor Benedikt Loewe in recognition of the outstanding student feedback received on his courses, "with lectures that taught the content in an engaging and insightful way".
History of the Faculty Lecturing Prize and the Pilkington Prize
The Faculty Lecturing Prize recognises outstanding lecturing within the Faculty and the importance of the views of our students in judging such. It was introduced in 2019 and until 2023 was awarded every other year. From 2024 the prize will be awarded every year.
A nomination is made to the Faculty Board of Mathematics by the Faculty Lecturing Prize committee comprising of the student representatives on Faculty committees.
