CP violation in the field of B physics is a crucial topic for exploring the quark sector and searching for New Physics, both for theorists and experimentalists. It manifests itself in various ways, and in this presentation we categorise decays according to their underlying dynamics, providing a roadmap to the study of CP violation in different classes of decay processes. Within this framework, we highlight recent key results, ongoing theoretical efforts, and their implications for current and future studies of CP-violating observables.
