Examiners' Comments on Undergraduate Examination Questions

Each Examiner is asked to produce comments on the questions which they set and marked. These comments typically describe how well the candidates performed compared with the Examiner's expectation of the question, which parts were done well and what were the most common mistakes.

The Faculty Board of Mathematics agreed in 2017 that Examiners' comments on questions each year should be published at the beginning of the following Lent Term, as they might be useful for students, supervisors and future Examiners. Comments from 2017 onwards are available below (internal access only, Raven authentication required).
