N = 4 Super Yang-Mills with flavour can be studied at strong coupling by introducing light D7-branes into AdS_5 x S^5. In this talk, I will discuss a generalisation of this result where the mass now depends holomorphically on position. I will show that these are given by holomorphic embedding functions for the D7-branes and, moreover, they are BPS and solve the DBI equations of motion exactly. I will discuss both the supergravity and field theory interpretations of this result and understand the BPS condition from spacetime and worldvolume perspectives. I will conclude by showing how this result can be generalised to different supergravity backgrounds and classify which spacetimes admit such solutions.
