In this two hours presentation, DAMTP and DPMMS researchers who have succeeded at Fellowship applications will pass on what to they know. The session will be led by Alison Ming, who holds a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship at DAMTP; and Richard Webb, who holds an EPSRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at DPMMS.

The presentation will cover:

Different types of funding
How Fellowship applications work
Guidance on writing the application
Guidance on the interview process

Please bring to the session: one page proposal so that we can have the opportunity to discuss them during the last hour.

This workshop is organised for PhD students and Post Docs in both DAMTP and DPMMS, and will take place on Wednesday, 5th June, 1:30-4:00 pm, in MR14. There will be a break for tea and coffee.

Places on this workshop are limited to 25 students and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Those successful in obtaining a place will be notified via email. You will also be notified if you are put on the waiting list.
