Adam Kashlak

I grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, which is just outside of Philadelphia.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics from McGill University in 2008 focusing in analysis. Then, I began working with a government research group near Washington DC, and completed my Master of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University in 2011 focusing in probability and statistics. My favorite area of mathematics is probability. Most of my recent research can be summed up as placing balls into cells in some random way.

My other interests include cooking and experimenting with new recipes, running, coding in C and R, Canada, reading The Atlantic, and drinking tea.
