Arthur Cayley, GH Hardy and Louis Mordell — these are just three of the long line of eminent mathematicians that have filled the role of Sadleirian Professors of Pure Mathematics at Cambridge. Emmanuel Breuillard is the latest addition to this distinguished line. In this interview he talks about his new role and his work connecting different areas of pure mathematics.
