Academic background

  • Bsc, Computational Life Science, University of Lübeck, 2012-2015
  • Msc, Mathematics, University of Münster, 2015-2017

I studied fast fourier algorithms in my Bachelors degree and wrote my thesis about the Prony method and nonlinear approximation. In my Master studies I specialized in scientific calculus and stochastic processes. In my Master thesis I registered two-dimensional MR and ultrasound images rigidly. My supervisor is Carola Schönlieb, the head of the cambridge image analysis group.

Areas of interest

In my research I will write a dynamic algorithm for the registration of three-dimensional MR and two-dimensional ultrasound images of the prostate. Besides all kind of mathematical image computing I'm interested in statistics, especially the connection between numerical mathematics and stochastics.

Other interests

Playing Bass guitar and cooking.
