Xianyang Jiang is currently a member in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. He works at the G. K. Batchelor Laboratory and is a member of the Environmental and Industrial Fluid Dynamics group. He is mainly interested in understanding the physical process of phenomena in wall-bounded flows, particle-laden flows and stratified shear flows. His current role primarily involves running experiments on stratified exchange flows in an inclined duct and analysing the mixing process of the shear layer.
