Research
Sam works in the quantum fluids group within the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. In general his interests lie in the emergence of structure in chaotic systems, with a particular emphasis on pattern formation in out-of-equilibrium condensates. Research themes include quantum turbulence as well as the structure and dynamics of solitons.
