My part III essay looked at algorithms for computing different types of spectra for operators on Hilbert spaces, in particular the smallest number of limits required. As an undergrad my main interests were in analysis and its applications in physics. My supervisor is Anders Hansen, head of the Applied Functional and Harmonic Analysis group.

Areas of interest

My research interests include the solvability complexity index and its applications to algorithms for computing spectra, spectra/pseudospectra of non self-adjoint operators and studying turbulence in the ISM via fractional derivatives. I enjoy all areas of analysis and hope to have a much longer list soon!

Other interests

Drumming and ultimate frisbee.
