Academic background

  • MMath (Part III), University of Cambridge, 2016-2017
  • BA, University of Cambridge, 2013-2016

Whilst studying for my undergraduate degrees, I interned at the Fields Institute at the University of Toronto, at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics at UCLA and in the Cambridge Image Analysis Group in DAMTP, working on research projects in various areas of analysis. These projects ranged from pure functional analytic topics to applied problems in optimization.

During Part III I focussed on Partial Differential Equations, both in pure and applied terms, and wrote a Part III essay which looked at transfer equations relevant to photoacoustic imaging in order to analyse methods for image reconstruction and corresponding stability results.

Areas of interest

My research interests lie in problems concerning Partial Differential Equations, with a particular focus on the development of methods for solving PDEs. I also have an interest in functional analysis and I am excited to broaden my mathematical knowledge in the CCA.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar, doing sports, as well as travelling and reading.
